Abstract
Web-Based Academic Information System Design (Case Study: SMP Nasional Bantul) Fahrizal Umami, Umar Zaky Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : rizalelnino35@gmail.com, umarzaky@gmail.com, ABSTRACT SMP Nasional Bantul is a school with national standards and has around 100 students in it. Academic data collection with that many students and the desire of parents to monitor their children's academics makes it difficult for the school to carry out their duties where data collection of students, teacher data, subject data, student class data, scheduling and assessments are still recorded in Microsoft excel and often time constrained because of the changing academic year, the possibility of data loss is very large. The SMP Nasional Bantul Web-Based Academic Information System is an information system that provides academic data processing for SMP Nasional Bantul students. The making of this information system is done by collecting data, analyzing, designing, implementing to testing the information system. This information system is made using the PHP and MySQL programming languages. This study aims to determine the system that is running, make system design, analyze and test the system as well as to implement academic information systems. The final result of this final project is the SMP Nasional Bantul Academic Information System which can be used to facilitate school employees, subject teachers and also homeroom teachers in processing student data and as a medium of information for parents about their children's academics.
