Abstract
WEB-BASED SALES INFORMATION SYSTEM (CASE STUDY: FAMILY ELECTRONICS & MUSIC STORE, YOGYAKARTA) Muhammad Nurul Humam, Afwan Anggara, S.Kom., M.Cs. Program Studi Sistem Informasi, Fakultas Sains & Teknologi Universitas Teknologi Yogykarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : muhammadnurulhumam@gmail.com, angga_afw@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT Family Electronics & Music Store located in Yogyakarta is a store that sells various kinds of electronic goods of different types, brands and types. For now, the running system still has flaws and weaknesses that cause the store's performance to be hampered. Customers who want to buy goods must order via whatsapp or come directly to the store. To deal with these problems, it is necessary to build a web-based information system using the waterfall method. This information system will make it easier for owners, employees and customers to carry out the buying and selling process because customers can order goods via the web without having to come to the store directly. The result of this research is a web-based sales information system using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The system is expected to assist in the process of buying and selling goods and can display reports according to the period. Keywords: Information System, Sales, Web, MySQL
