Abstract

WEBSITE-BASED CAR RENTAL INFORMATION SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT (Case Study: Seven Nine Transport Yogyakarta) Ivan Lianta Sirait, Suyud Widiono, M.Kom Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta Email : ivanlianta31@gmail.com, suyud.w@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT The payment system develops along with the times that are increasingly advanced. The payment transaction process can be done manually by submitting a certain amount of money directly or done online using bank transfer payments. Seven Nine Transport Yogyakarta is a business entity that is engaged in transportation or rather a car rental service provider located in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. In the process of car booking payment transactions still using a manual system so that there are obstacles experienced by the admin, namely checking payment transactions made by customers by checking bank account mutations so that the admin's performance is not efficient. From the problems above, the author develops a car rental system that previously existed, where the system will be integrated with a payment gateway so that all transactions made can be stored in the system and can facilitate the transaction process at Seven Nine Transport Yogyakarta. The payment gateway used is Midtrans using the SNAP method. The system development method used to identify the components of the information system design includes database design, level diagrams, DFD, Context Diagrams, ERD, table relations and interface design. For the development of this information system using Visual Studio Code software with PHP programming language and MySQL database. Based on the results of system testing carried out with Black-box Testing, it can be concluded that the system can handle online car bookings, display profiles, information on rented cars, handle car booking payments using a payment gateway, monitor transaction status and print transaction reports.
