Abstract
Development of Web-Based Information System for Sales, Grooming and Pet Care (Case Study : Monjali Pet Shop, Special Region of Yogyakarta Province) Oky Kenta Pratama, Devi Ratnasari Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail :oky.pratama@student.uty.ac.id, deviratnasari@staff.uty.ac.id ABSTRACT The sales system at the Monjali Pet Shop is still ineffective. The payment process is still carried out using uploading proof of payment which must be checked manually. The features provided in the old system were also only transactions for selling pet food products. The process of recording and reporting transactions at the Monjali Pet Shop is one of the things that is a problem. In recording products and transactions, it still takes a little longer because they have to synchronize between the products sold and the available product stock. Reporting is done one by one so it is not appropriate in making reports. There are even data that are not recorded at the time of reporting. The newly developed system uses a digital payment method through a payment gateway. The system is built on a web-based basis, using a MySQL database, and the PHP programming language and framework using Bootstrap. The results of the system development research are to provide convenience for customers in the process of paying for sales, care and animal care with a payment gateway as well as by adding new facilities in the form of animal care and care.
