Abstract
This research discusses the study of stylistics and only focuses on the good aspect of language. This study discusses two problems. The first is the type of sound aspect language used in The Times They Are A-Changin, Ballad of Hollis Brown, Boots of Spanish Leather lyrics, and the second problem is the most dominant sound aspect language which used in The Times They Are A-Changin, Ballad of Hollis Brown, and Boots of Spanish Leather song lyrics. In this study, the researcher uses a qualitative method. The data in this study are in the form of words and sentences containing aspects of assonance, alliteration, and consonants. The researcher used Bob Dylan's song lyrics: The Times They Are A-Changin, Ballad of Hollis Brown, and Boots of Spanish Leather as data sources. The researcher went through several steps in analyzing the data: identifying, classifying, and making interpretations. The first result of this research shows that in the song lyrics The Times They Are A-Changin, Ballad of Hollis Brown, and Boots of Spanish Leather, there are 41 cases of alliteration, 108 cases of assonance, and 37 cases of consonance. The second result of this study is that the most dominant sound aspect in the song's lyrics is associated with 108 or 58% of the 186 data found by the researcher. Keywords: alliteration, assonance, consonance, lyric, song, stylistic Penelitian ini membahas tentang kajian stilistika dan hanya berfokus pada aspek bunyi bahasa. Penelitian ini membahas tentang 2 masalah. Masalah pertama adalah tipe aspek bunyi bahasa yang digunakan dalam lirik lagu The Times They Are A-Changin, Ballad of Hollis Brown, Boots of Spanish Leather dan yang masalah kedua adalah aspek bunyi bahasa yang paling dominan digunakan dalam lirik lagu The Times They Are A-Changin, Ballad of Hollis Brown, Boots of Spanish Leather. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data yang ada dalam penelitian ini berupa kata dan kalimat yang mengandung aspek bunyi asonansi, aliterasi, dan konsonan. Peneliti menggunakan lirik lagu Bob Dylan yang berjudul The Times They Are A-Changin Ballad of Hollis Brown, and Boots of Spanish Leather sebagai sumber data. Dalam menganalisis data, peneliti melalui beberapa langkah, yaitu mengidentifikasi, mengklasifikasi, dan membuat interpretasi. Hasil pertama dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam lagu The Times They Are A-Changin, Ballad of Hollis Brown, Boots of Spanish Leather, terdapat 41 kasus aliterasi, 108 kasus asonansi, dan 37 kasus konsonan. Hasil kedua dari penelitian ini adalah aspek suara paling dominan yang ada dalam lirik lagu tersebut adalah asonansi dengan total 108 atau 58% dari 186 data yang telah ditemukan oleh peneliti.
