Abstract
Language has an essential role for humans to communicate with each other. When people communicate, they often mix their language in their expressions with various variations of the language they know. In Sociolinguistics, mixing one language with another is called code-mixing. It also happens to one of the famous Indonesian YouTube, Nessie Judge. The author is interested in conducting research based on Nessie Judge's YouTube videos. This study focuses on code-mixing that appears on Nessie Judge's video YouTube channel. The purpose of this study is to determine the type and level of code-mixing that appears on Nessie Judge's video YouTube channel. This study uses a qualitative method. In this study, the researcher collects data, makes an analysis, and draws conclusions. The researcher uses the documentation method in data collection: watching and transcribing the video script, identifying video, and classifying data based on the type and level of code-mixing. The results show three types of code-mixing, namely intra-sentential of code-mixing, intra-lexical of code-mixing, and involving a change of pronunciation. There are six code-mixing levels: word level, phrase level, baster level, repetition word, idiom level, and clause level. Keywords: Code Mixing, Nessie Judge, YouTube Bahasa memiliki peran penting bagi manusia untuk saling berkomunikasi. Ketika orang berkomunikasi, mereka sering mencampuradukkan bahasa mereka dalam berbicara, dengan berbagai variasi bahasa yang mereka kenal. Dalam sosiolinguistik, pencampuran satu bahasa dengan bahasa lain disebut campur kode. Hal ini juga terjadi pada salah satu YouTuber ternama Indonesia, Nessie Judge's. Penulis tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian berdasarkan video YouTube Nessie Judge. Penelitian ini berfokus pada campur kode yang muncul pada video channel YouTube Nessie Judge. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis dan tingkat campur kode yang muncul pada video channel YouTube Nessie Judge. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti mengumpulkan data, membuat analisis, dan menarik kesimpulan. Peneliti menggunakan metode dokumentasi dalam pengumpulan data, yaitu menonton dan menyalin naskah video, mengidentifikasi video, dan mengklasifikasikan data berdasarkan jenis dan tingkat campur kode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga jenis campur kode, yaitu campur kode intra-sentential, intra-leksikal campur kode dan melibatkan perubahan pengucapan. Ada enam tingkatan campur kode, yaitu tingkat kata, tingkat frase, tingkat baster, tingkat pengulangan kata, tingkat idiom, dan tingkat klausa. Kata kunci: Code Mixing, Nessie Judge, YouTube
