Abstract
This research is a study about women's language by Diana as Wonder woman 1984 Movie (2020). The research problems in this research are knowing the types of woman language features used by the main character and the most dominant woman language used by the main character. This research is a qualitative method and observation to collect the data by transcription from the movie—the result' of this study based on Lakoff theory (1975). The researcher found seven out of ten features of woman language from the main character's utterance in the movie. They were lexical hedges, tag questions, rising intonations, intensifiers, super polite forms, avoidance of strong swear words, and emphatic stress. However, empty adjectives, precious color terms, and hypercorrection grammar were not found in the movie because Diana's character did not use them. __________________________________________________________________ Keywords: Diana's utterance, Movie, Woman language, Wonder woman 1984 Ini adalah studi tentang bahasa wanita yang digunakan oleh Diana sebagai karakter utama Film Wonder woman 1984 (2020). Masalah penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis fitur bahasa wanita yang digunakan oleh karakter utama dan untuk mengetahui bahasa wanita yang paling dominan digunakan oleh karakter utama. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan observasi untuk mengumpulkan data melalui transkripsi dari film. Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan teori Lakoff (1975). Peneliti menemukan tujuh dari sepuluh fitur bahasa wanita dari ucapan karakter utama dalam film. Fiturnya adalah lexical hedges, tag question, rising intonations, intensifiers, super polite forms, avoidance of strong swear word dan emphatic stress. Meskipun, empty adjectives, precious colour terms dan hypercorrection grammar tidak ditemukan dalam film karena karakter Diana dalam film tersebut tidak menggunakannya. __________________________________________________________________ Kata kunci: Ucapan Diana, Film, Bahasa Wanita, Wonder woman 1984
