Abstract

APPLICATION OF FIFO METHOD IN SALES MANAGEMENT AT KANDANGAN PHARMACY (Case Study: Kandangan Pharmacy) ABSTRACT Data management at the Kandangan pharmacy has not been well organized. It is due to the fact that there are still various kinds of problems, such as non- standardized rules of sales transaction section, including the drug stock management section. It results in frequent accumulation of drugs. The system development is carried out using the FIFO (First in First Out) method which aims to regulate the entry and exit of drugs so as to minimize drug accumulation. The result of the study is a website-based sales system using the FIFO method which aims to assist the drug data management process and sales transactions. It maximizes the work process and financial benefits and reduces the accumulation of expired drugs at Kandangan pharmacy. Keywords: Pharmacy, FIFO, Website
