Abstract

APPLICATION OF WEBSITE-BASED STUDENT ACCEPTANCE RECOMMENDATIONS WITH SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING (SAW) METHOD (Case Study: Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Mlangi Sleman Yogykarta) NOOR ROHMAH EKAWATI SHOLIKHAH Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta North Ringroad St., Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail: candrae163@gmail.com ABSTRACT The scholarship is a work program that exists in every school or madrasah. The scholarship program is held to ease the burden on students during their studies, especially in financial costs. Scholarships are given to students selectively according to the type of scholarship being held. Several institutions distribute scholarships to help someone who is underprivileged or an achiever during his studies. Based on this finding, the study assists in determining a student to receive a scholarship; a decision support system is needed. The model used in this decision support system is simple additive weighting; this method is often also known as the weighted addition method; the basic concept of this method is to find the weighted sum of the performance ratings for each alternative on all attributes. This method was chosen because it can select the best alternative from several alternatives; in this case, the intended alternative is entitled to receive scholarships based on the specified criteria.
