Abstract

WEB-BASED SALES SYSTEM DESIGN USING PAYMENT GATEWAY ABSTRACT The technology-based payment system has now replaced the cash transaction system. Transactions using payment gateways are considered profitable because they can reduce business transaction costs and can improve the quality of service to customers. The payment gateway used is Midtrans because the implementation process is quite easy, has good security using an anti-fraud system, and the documentation for its use is easy to learn. Hidden Store is a company engaged in the sale of clothing. This shop was founded in 2013 and is located at Jl. Nakulo No. 2A, Wirobrajan, Yogyakarta. The Hidden Store still uses notes and proof of payment in making transactions. Originally sending proof of payment, now they have developed a payment feature that is safe to use by designing a payment gateway that can make it easier for customers to make digital payment transactions. The sales system designed is equipped with online payment services using the Midtrans payment gateway where customers can make online payments. The sales system is designed using the PHP programming language, MySQL as the database server, and Visual Studio Code as the text editor. The main function of this sales system is that it can handle online sales, display product information, handle payments using a payment gateway, monitor order status, display best-selling product results, and report sales and purchase transactions.
