Abstract
DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR SELECTING EYEGLASSES FRAME USING THE PROMETHEE METHOD ACEP NUR ROHIM Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta North Ringroad St., Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail: acep.nurrohim@gmail.com ABSTRACT Optics is a shop that sells glasses. Optics is a supplier and distributor that provides various frame and lenses brands from the cheapest to the most expensive. However, there are still problems in purchasing eyeglass frames in this optic because the number of products and types of frames being sold confuses buyers when they are about to make a purchase. Furthermore, the shape or model of the frame does not necessarily match the shape of the buyer's face. This research was conducted to create a decision support application for choosing eyeglass frames using the Promethee method. The system to be created in this study uses the Promethee method. The criteria used are price, frame shape, face shape, model and materials. From the research done, the researcher has succeeded in analysing the eyeglass frame selection system in Optics with the validation test results of 100% from 12 test data and 30 system data.
