Abstract

APPLICATION OF FIS TSUKAMOTO (FUZZY INFERENCE SYSTEM TSUKAMOTO) ON WEB-BASED LAPTOP SELECTION (Case Study : ELCO COMPUTER) ABSTRACT In the current era, the use of laptops for daily activities is necessary for many people, ranging from simple use to heavy use. Laptops are one type of electronic item that plays an important role in helping humans to process data. Almost every day people work using laptops to make work easier. But many people are not right in choosing a laptop to meet their needs. For example, students use laptops only for light applications, so it is better if the laptop they buy is a laptop with low specifications. With the development of increasingly advanced technology, there are many technologies that can be utilized. One of them in the field of electronics. One form of technology application that can be made is an expert system to recommend the selection of a laptop that suits user needs. Decision Support System is a system that is able to help provide a decision on solving a problem. In the decision support system there are methods that can be applied such as the FIS Tsukamoto Method (Fuzzy Inference System) which can recommend the type of Laptop. With a system that can recommend the selection of the type of laptop, it makes it easier for users to choose the type of laptop that fits what is needed.
