Abstract
CHURCH FINANCIAL INFORMATION SYSTEM DESIGN WEB-BASED (Case Study: GBI Generasi Baru Yogyakarta) AGNES CINTYA NAOMI HENDRIK Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta North Ringroad St., Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail: agnes.hendrik42@gmail.com ABSTRACT Every agency and organization feels the rapid development of technology. The GBI Generasi Baru Yogyakarta also feels the development of technology. GBI Generasi Baru is a branch of the Indonesian Bethel Church. GBI Generasi Baru is a non-profit community organization. The increasing number of church members caused a significant increase in data on the Church, such as congregation data, financial data and other data. The flow of Church financial information is very much needed to find out the development of the Church from a financial perspective, how the capital structure is, and how much income and expenditure is in a certain period. Financial data management in the New Generation of GBI is still carried out using Microsoft Excel, which is less effective and efficient, causing the existing data management process to be not maximal. Therefore, a web-based Financial Information System was created to solve the existing financial data management problems. This research uses GBI Generation New data obtained from the Finance Admin. The author chooses the waterfall method. The results of this study are that the system can display financial reports in the form of financial reports that are more transparent and efficient, cell group leaders can see reports on the activeness of their members in giving offerings, members can find out financial reports of unique offerings, financial reports, and all forms of reports from previous systems. In addition, now the paper-based report can be accessed through the website. Keywords: Web, Church, Finance
