Abstract
JOB LOCATION WEBGIS -BASED MAPPING IN THE SPECIAL REGION OF YOGYAKARTA ABSTRACT In this technological era, job seekers usually look for job vacancies through websites. However, most job seekers have difficulty in finding the details of the location of the job vacancies offered. These problems need to be solved by using a geographic information approach to job vacancies. The development of geographic information systems is carried out using the waterfall method in 5 stages, namely (1) needs analysis, (2) design, (3) implementation, (4) testing, and (5) maintenance. The programming language used is PHP and MySQL as the database server. Geographic data is obtained from the Google Maps API for web-based map creation. This geographic information system can help job seekers to find a clearer picture of the location of job vacancies. Keywords: GIS, Jobs, Vacancies.
