Abstract
DESIGNING A WEB-BASED GOODS INVENTORY SYSTEM (CASE STUDY: PT. DUTA AGRO SENTOSA) GERY YUDHISTIRA Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta North Ringroad St., Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail: bloodgrail21@gmail.com ABSTRACT PT. Duta Agro Sentosa still uses a relatively simple bookkeeping system. By only mentioning it in a book, the recording becomes less than optimal. Calculation of transaction results only relies on a calculator and without computer or laptop support. The sales system has many weaknesses, most of which occur in recording errors, and data retrieval is complex because every time a salesperson is looking for data, the admin must look for the ledger. There is no specific information about the amount of stock of goods, so it is not uncommon when the stock is out of stock to see a new store during the transaction process. It is certainly disappointing the customers. Doing this research is expected to create a development design from the previous system that has been running at PT. Duta Agro Sentosa so that the recording section can be done quickly. It is also expected to improve employee performance and optimal computerized use so that it is more productive and more guaranteed inventory of goods.
