Abstract
IMPLEMENTATION OF WEB-BASED MAPPING SYSTEMS FOR KLITIH CASES IN YOGYAKARTA ABSTRACT The city of Yogyakarta is one of the largest cities in Indonesia and the fourth largest city in the southern part of Java Island according to its population, where the population is not only local residents. In addition, the crime rate in the city of Yogyakarta is increasing from year to year. The lack of information about the klitih-prone areas makes many people in the city of Yogyakarta not aware of the dangers of passing through the klitih-prone areas. to create a system that becomes a container for information on klitih-prone areas that is able to provide information in terms of geographical location, details of events in the form of place names and time of occurrence. The information system design method used is the Waterfall Method, where there are 4 stages contained in the Waterfall Method, namely, Needs Analysis, Design, Implementation, and Testing. Data collection in this study is to collect data information such as the location of the incident, location photos, latitude and longitude as well as an explanation of the incident. The results of the information system design using Open Street Maps in the form of Leaflets and Mapboxes that can be accessed using a browser on a computer or on mobile devices, where each report location can be displayed at once and can display the current user location.
