Abstract
WEB-BASED TOURISM PACKAGE RESERVATION SYSTEM DESIGN (Case Study: Konco Dolan Djogja) ABSTRACT Konco Dolan Djogja is a place of business engaged in tourism services which is centered on travel service providers across Yogyakarta, such as study tours and excursions. Currently, the tour package booking services are still using telephone and social media. To improve tour package services, a new online system needs to be developed. The purpose of this research is to produce a web-based tour package booking system at Konco Dolan Djogja which is expected to simplify the process of ordering tour service bureau packages and reduce the admin workload in serving customers. The application development method used in this research is the waterfall system which consists of data collection, analysis, design and system testing. The languages used are PHP (Personal Home Pages), and HTML (HyperText Markup Language). MySql as a database server and Sublime Text as a support. The result of the research is the design of an application system that is able to overcome the problems of tourism services in Konco Dolan Djogja.
