Abstract
DESIGNING AND BUILDING LEARNING MEDIA FOR EARLY CHILDREN WEB-BASED (Case Study: Early Childhood Education Melati Selanegara) ABSTRACT Melati Early Childhood Education Post in Selanegara Village is a Melati Early Childhood Education Post on Jl. Bogangin KM 2 Selanegara Village RT 03 RW 05 Sumpiuh sub-district, Banyumas district, Central Java. Currently the PAUD has 40 students. It holds Early Childhood Learning Media Designs that are in accordance with the PAUD curriculum with learning activities such as storytelling, assignments, projects, and field trips. The system development is carried out using the waterfall method in 5 stages, namely (1) needs analysis, (2) system design, (3) program code writing, (4) program testing, (5) program implementation and maintenance. However, currently the focus is on the Covid-19 pandemic. One of which is the problems faced by early childhood teachers, which are difficulties in delivering online learning materials or studying at home which are carried out by students by collecting assignments for each class teacher. This system is built, the programming language is made using PHP, web, MySQL as a database server and is designed with a simple design flow as a tool in the world of education. However, currently the focus is on online learning or learning at home that is child-centered, namely by considering the potential, interests, talents, development and needs of all students. The result of this research is an early childhood learning system that can be implemented into a web-based information system in an easy-to-understand way.
