Abstract
APPLICATION DESIGN FOR DATA MANAGEMENT LIBRARY IMPLEMENTING A WEB-BASED BARCODE SYSTEM TOMI PRIMADI Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail: primadi404@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study aims to facilitate the process of managing library activity data. The subjects of this research are officers, members and visitors as users of libraries throughout the Sleman district. This library data management system implements a website-based barcode system which was chosen because technologically it can simplify the process of managing library data. The business processes in this system are described in the form of activity diagrams, which describe the various flows of activity in the system that is being designed, how each flow begins, decisions that may occur, and how the business process or system ends. This system is made using the programming language Programming Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) and Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) and uses a MySQL database.
