Abstract

Daerah Irigasi yang menjadi kewenangan Pemerintah Daerah DIY di Kulon Progo adalah D.I Sapon dengan luas 2.094 Ha. Sumber air dari D.I sapon juga dari Sungai Progo dengan Intake Bendung yang terletak di Dukuh Sapon, Kalurahan Sidorejo, Kapanewon Lendah.. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui analisis karakteristik pemberian air dan kebutuhan air kondisi eksisting dan simulasi indeks penggunaan air dan mengevaluasi nilai FPR di D.I Sapon Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Metode yang digunakan dalam Tugas akhir ini sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku yaitu Dirjen Pengairan 1997:1 untuk nilai FPR berdasarkan jenis tanah; Dirjen Pengairan 1997:1 dan Peta irigasi Kabupaten Kulon Progo, untuk klasifikasi nilai indeks penggunaan air ; SK dirjen RLPS 2009. Berdasarkan analisis dan perhitungan yang telah dilakukan didapatkan 108 kali nilai FPR yang lebih dari 0,23 dan tidak sesuai dari total 108 kali dari total tiga kali musim tanam untuk 36 petak tersier selama setahun, jadi prosentase pemberian air berdasarkan nilai FPR adalah sebesar 97,3% di D.I. Sapon. Artinya kondisi antara kebutuhan dan ketersediaan air di D.I. Sapon terjadi kelebihan air sehingga dinyatakan adanya pemborosan. Nilai yang tidak sesuai dengan tabel nilai FPR berdasarkan jenis tanah dapat mempengaruhi kebutuhan air irigasi sehingga menyebabkan pemberian air tidak merata di D.I Sapon. Hasil perhitungan penghematan pemberian air irigasi didapatkan bahwa dengan mencoba-coba nilai IPA = 0,8 (kategori sedang) memiliki hasil terbesar yaitu 588,4 lt/dtk (Musim Hujan), 423,8 lt/dtk (Musim Kemarau I) dan 349,8 lt/dtk (Musim Kemarau II) pada intake. Untuk penghematan pemberian air irigasi dengan mencoba-coba nilai FPR didapatkan bahwa FPR = 0,23 memiliki hasil terbesar yaitu 2265,34 lt/dtk (Musim Hujan), 1631,63 lt/dtk (Musim Kemarau I) dan 1346,73 lt/dtk (Musim Kemarau II). The source of water from D.I sapon is also from the Progo River with an Intake Weir which is located in Hamlet Sapon, Kalurahan Sidorejo, Kapanewon Lendah. The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of the characteristics of water supply and water demand for existing conditions and a simulation of the water use index and evaluate the FPR value in D.I Sapon, Kulon Progo Regency. The method used in this final project is in accordance with the applicable regulations, namely the Director General of Irrigation 1997:1 for the FPR value based on soil type; Director General of Irrigation 1997:1 and irrigation map of Kulon Progo Regency, for classification of water use index values; and the Decree of the Director General of RLPS 2009. Based on the analysis and calculations that have been carried out, it was found that 108 times the FPR value which is more than 0.23 and is not appropriate from a total of 108 times from a total of three planting seasons for 36 tertiary plots for a year, so the percentage of water supply is based on the value of FPR is 97.3% in DI Sapon. This means that the condition between the need and the availability of water in D.I. Sapon has excess water so that it is declared a waste. Values that are not in accordance with the table of FPR values based on soil type can affect irrigation water needs, causing uneven water supply in D.I Sapon. The results of the calculation of saving irrigation water showed that by experimenting with the value of IPA = 0.8 (medium category) the largest yield was 588.4 lt/s (Rain Season), 423.8 lt/s (Dry Season I) and 349 ,8 lt/s (Dry Season II) at intake. For saving irrigation water by experimenting with the FPR value, it was found that FPR = 0.23 had the largest yield of 2265.34 lt/sec (Rain Season), 1631.63 lt/sec (Dry Season I) and 1346.73 lt/sec. sec (Dry Season II).
