Abstract
Longsor dapat diakibatkan oleh kondisi tanah dasar penyusun lereng. Demikian pula dengan tanah lempung bobonaro yang tersebar di Pulau Timor, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Tanah penyusun lempung bobonaro memiliki sifat plastisitas dan mengandung mineral montmorillonite yang menjadi faktor pemicu sering terjadinya longsor. Situasi ini melatarbelakangi perkuatan tanah pada proyek pembangunan Bendungan Manikin, Kupang, NTT. Perkuatan tanah yang digunakan yaitu soil nailing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lempung bobonaro terhadap stabilitas lereng serta stabilitas lereng dengan perkuatan soil nailing terhadap tiga model kegagalan yaitu tarik, geser, dan permukaan. Analisis stabilitas lereng menggunakan software plaxis V20 serta stabilitas terhadap perkuatan soil nailing menggunakan metode baji dan mekanisme kegagalan baji. Hasil analisis software plaxis V20 dengan infiltrasi menunjukkan lereng tanpa trap (asli) mengalami keruntuhan dengan nilai deformasi 50,83 x 10-3 m, lereng trap dengan faktor aman lereng 1,2 dan nilai deformasi 0,06641x10-3. Faktor aman lereng dengan perkuatan soil nailing secara berturut 1,595 (lereng tanpa trap), 1,741(lereng trap), dan 1,775 (lereng trap dengan penambahan panjang nail). Selanjutnya, hasil analisis kestabilan soil nailing terhadap tiga model kegagalan, nilai kegagalan tarik dan geser yaitu -1782,52 kN/m, -1407,65 kN/m kurang dari nol sehingga soil nailing aman terhadap kedua kegagalan tersebut. Kegagalan permukaan untuk lereng dengan perkuatan soil nailing mendapatkan nilai gesekan permukaan nail terhadap tanah lebih besar dari berat tanah sisa sehingga dapat diartikan lereng tidak mengalami kegagalan permukaan. Hal ini menunjukkan lereng dengan tanah lempung bobonaro aman dengan perkuatan soil nailing. Likewise with bobonaro clay that is spread over the island of Timor, East Nusa Tenggara. Bobonaro clay constituent soil has plasticity properties and contains the mineral montmorillonite which is the triggering factor for frequent landslides. This situation is the background of soil strengthening in the Manikin Dam construction project, Kupang, NTT. The soil reinforcement used is soil nailing. This study aims to determine the effect of bobonaro clay on slope stability and slope stability with soil nailing reinforcement against three failure models, namely tensile, shear, and surface. Analysis of slope stability using Plaxis V20 software and stability of soil nailing using wedge method and wedge failure mechanism. The results of the plaxis V20 software analysis with infiltration showed that the slope without trap (original) collapsed with a deformation value of 50.83 x 10-3 m, a trap slope with a slope safety factor of 1.2 and a deformation value of 0.06641x10-3. The slope safety factor with soil nailing reinforcement is 1,595 (slope without trap), 1,741 (slope trap), and 1,775 (slope trap with additional nail length). The results of the analysis of the stability of the soil nailing on the three failure models show that the tensile and shear failure values are -1782.52 kN/m, -1407.65 kN/m less than zero so that the soil nailing is safe against both failures. Surface failure for slopes with soil nailing reinforcement gets the friction value of the nail surface to the soil greater than the weight of the residual soil so that it can be interpreted that the slope does not experience surface failure. This shows that slopes with bobonaro clay are safe with soil nailing reinforcement. Keywords: bobonaro clay, soil nailing, plaxis V20, wedge method, slope stability
