Abstract
Penelitian ini menganalisa film yang berjudul Home Alone (1990). Permasalahan yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) aksi kecerdasan yang di munculkan Kevin Mccallister di film Home Alone (1990) dan (2) tipe kecerdasan yang dimunculkan Kevin Mccallister. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori kecerdasan Triarchic oleh Robert Sternberg, dan analisis deskriptif yang berpusat pada aksi kecerdasan yang dimunculkan oleh Kevin Mccallister pada film Home Alone (1990). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tipe aksi kecerdasan yang dmunculkan oleh Kevin Mccallister di dalam film Home Alone (1990) adalah penemuan sesuatu yang baru dan penyelesaian masalah. Tipe kecerdasan yang berdasarkan teori Triarchic yaitu kecerdasan praktis, kecerdasan kreatif, dan kecerdasan analitis. This study analyzes the intelligent actions by Kevin Mccallister in Home Alone (1990) movie. There are two problems in this study: (1) the intelligent actions by Kevin Mccallister in Home Alone (1990) and (2) the type of intelligent actions. This study uses the Triarchic theory of intelligence by Robert Sternberg and the descriptive analysis which focuses on the intelligent actions by Kevin Mccallister in Home Alone (1990) movie. The result of the research shows that intelligent actions by Kevin Mccallister in Home Alone (1990) movie are discovery and problem solving. The types of intelligent actions based on Triarchic theory of intelligence are practical intelligence, creative intelligence, and analytical intelligence
