Abstract
ABSTRACT Education is one of the needs that must be fulfilled and owned by every individual. However, currently the problem is, the education in Indonesia is the high cost of education, thus resulting in many students dropping out of school. Scholarships are one of the government's efforts in tackling the large number of students who drop out of school because they are constrained by costs. Not only that, scholarships are also a means to finance students who excel in both academic and non-academic fields. One of the schools that supports this government program is SMP Negeri 1 Mungkid. The problem that often occurs at SMP Negeri 1 Mungkid in providing scholarships is that it is difficult to determine prospective scholarship recipients who meet the criteria for each existing scholarship category. This study uses the Simple Additive Wighting method to determine the eligibility of prospective scholarship recipients. With this method, it is hoped that the assessment will be more precise because it is based on the set value of each predetermined criterion.
