Abstract

Design and Build a Web-Based Travel Ticket Purchase Information System (Case Study : PT Sinar Lombok Sumba NTT) Inang Suhada, Arief Hermawan, Dr.,MT. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : suhadainang99@gmail.com , ABSTRACT Sinar Lombok Travel which is addressed at Jalan Pisang Wailiang No. 8, Kp. Rice fields, Waikabubak City, West Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Is a travel business engaged in land transportation. The land transportation sector currently has great potential in generating income if it is developed optimally. The current Sinar Lombok Travel Ticket Purchase System is still conventional, where customers buy tickets via telephone, sms, or come directly to the office and buy tickets directly. The system takes a lot of time so that customers find it difficult to obtain information about ticket availability and destination cities. The purpose of this research is to produce a web-based travel ticket purchase information system design, making it easier to present information about Sinar Lombok Travel. Some of the information contained is the destination city, departure schedule, and ticket availability, as well as providing services to the community quickly and easily. Through this online and computerized Sinar Lombok Travel Ticket Purchase Information System, it can produce travel ticket purchase transactions that are efficient in storing transaction data. The design of this information system includes system flowcharts, data flow diagrams, context diagrams, database designs, and user interface designs. This Sinar Lombok Travel Ticket Purchase Information System uses the PHP programming language, and the MYSQL database. The implementation of this Sinar Lombok Travel Ticket Purchase Information System can assist employees in managing purchase transaction data and transaction reports.
