Abstract

Development of a Web-Based Car Rental Information System Using a Payment Gateway Ariq Adhitya Ramadhan, Devi Ratnasari, S.Kom., M.Kom. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : ariqaditya03@gmail.com, deviratnasari@staff.uty.ac.id, ABSTRACT Brework Transport Yogyakarta is a business engaged in car rental services. Currently, the current system still has shortcomings and weaknesses that can cause the performance of the business to have a less broad coverage of the customer. The process of car rental payment transactions still uses a manual system so that there are obstacles experienced by the admin, namely checking payment transactions made by customers by checking bank account mutations so that the admin's performance becomes inefficient. From the problem above, the author makes a car rental system where the system is integrated with a payment gateway so that all transactions made can be stored in the system and can facilitate the transaction process at Brework Transport Yogyakarta. The method of making the system used to identify components in the system being built includes level diagrams, DFD, context diagrams, ERD, table relations and interface design. The car rental system was created using the PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language, MySQL as the database server, and Visual Studio Code as a text editor. The system that was built can help the online car rental process, display profiles, rented car information, handle car rental payments using a payment gateway, monitor transaction status and print transaction reports.
