Abstract

ABSTRACT SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru is a fairly large school. Many students enroll in the school. After the author made observations, at this time students need to come to school to register for school, this causes the registration process to sometimes be quite queued and take a lot of time. So that it is less effective by utilizing technology, the authors develop a system to overcome these problems by building a website-based system so that with this system the registration process for new students becomes faster and more efficient. The existing system development methodology uses the waterfall method where this method is often used in the process of developing the system. In its implementation, the system is built using the PHP programming language by utilizing the CodeIgniter framework to simplify the implementation process, while the storage database used is MySQL. After the program runs, then the author conducts the testing process using the blackbox testing method, the results obtained are that the system is running well and there are no errors or bugs in the system.
