Abstract

ABSTRACT Scholarships are grants in the form of financial assistance that will be given to individuals with the aim of helping the continuation of education that is being pursued. At this time SMP Negeri 14 Jambi City does not yet have a scholarship data processing system, so problems often arise such as lost or damaged student data when the student applies for scholarships at the administrative office. The purpose of this study is to create a decision support system that can minimize lost and damaged data during registration, and provide accurate decisions in determining poor scholarship recipients. This study uses the Simple Additive Weighting method and the system is made using the Programming Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language and the database uses MySQL. The test results show an average accuracy rate of 85% using 2 comparison data. The web-based decision support system that has been created can help the school in charge of determining scholarship recipients more quickly. Keywords: Scholarship, Decision Support System, Website.
