Abstract

1. ABSTRACT The school payment system at SMA Negeri 1 Selomerto still uses a manual payment system so that activities related to payments are still slow where the data is still stored in books which makes it ineffective and time efficient. Information regarding payments will be delivered directly to students or by mail given to students. With this problem, a web-based school payment system was designed using the WhatsApp gateway. This system was created using the PHP programming language (Hypertext Preprocessor) and MySql as the database. The research method used in this system is in the form of problem identification, system requirements analysis, data collection, system design, system development and system testing. The results of this study can make it easier for TU admins and students when making payments and assist in delivering payment information to students via WhatsApp Gateway.
