Abstract

ABSTRACT The EPT (English Proficiency Test) is a comprehensive TOEFL test that measures all aspects of English proficiency, especially for academic purposes which include listening, reading and writing. Usually the participants register to the place where the EPT exam is held. Some places also provide training before taking the EPT exam. However, in some places there are obstacles in registering the EPT exam. The obstacle encountered was that participants registered directly to the venue or via WhatsApp messages and made payments by transfer to the account provided. This results in an inefficient place to collect data, and for participants there may be loss of proof of transfer for payments that have been made. Thus, the researcher provides a suggestion in the form of a payment medium, namely a website that uses a payment gateway as a method to simplify the payment process for the EPT training and exam. So the system in the form of a web-based payment with a payment method using the Midtrans payment gateway is expected to make it easier for participants to make payments without having to come directly to the place. In this system Admin can manage participant data, exam schedule data, training schedule data and reports. This website-based system is built using the PHP (Pear Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language, coupled with CSS (Cascading Style Sheet).
