Abstract
ABSTRACT KSU Bunga Rama is a company engaged in the cooperative sector. Cooperative data is very important for KSU Bunga Rama. Because in the last few decades the development of technology is growing rapidly. The world community is now competing in accessing the internet every second around the world considering that the internet is now a very basic need for most people, especially in urban areas, with so many activities it is very possible for wiretapping to occur, as a result our confidential documents will be very easily known by who are not interested in or authorized to the document. KSU Bunga Rama needs a system that is useful for document handling. So when talking about an encoding, it is certainly not far from what is called cryptography. Cryptography is a science that studies mathematical techniques related to aspects of information such as confidentiality, data integrity, and authentication. Various methods in cryptography have now been created, but in this study, we will conduct research to create an encryption system and document description using the Vigenere Cipher method.
