Abstract

ABSTRACT In Indonesia, there are many types of transportation modes, one of which is the bus transportation mode, the problem is with Po Bus companies that have not used the system as a bus ticket booking system, in other words, there are still many Po Buses that use conventional methods in ordering bus tickets that allow passengers who want to order bus tickets. ordering bus tickets need to come to Po to order them, this is certainly quite time-consuming to order bus tickets. by direct Observation and Interview with the bus company Po Eddy Transport Raya is one of the Po that still has not implemented a system for ordering tickets, with an online ticket ordering system that will be implemented at Po Eddy Transport Raya using the R&D method. The web technologies used in the implementation of the E-Ticketing Bus include using the programming language Programming Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML), Java Script and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and MySQL database, while for Mobile Technology it uses the language Kotlin and Java programming with the Android Studio IDE. Based on the data obtained from the questionnaire results from 63 respondents, it was stated that 100% of Po.Bus needed to have a ticket booking system, 67.6% answered the need for a mobile-based system and 30.9% answered the need for a web-based system. and 3.7% desktop-based. Therefore, a bus ticket application system was made with the title Web & Mobile-Based Bus E-Ticketing Implementation, to overcome these problems, in addition to online bus tickets there are other features such as bus schedule information, and seat bookings. this can help both the passenger and the Po Bus in ordering this online bus ticket.
