Abstract

Web-Based Car Rental Information System (Case Study : Seplawan Car Rental) Ani Puspitasari, Suhirman, Ph.D Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail: anipuspitasari674@gmail.com ABSTRACT Seplawan car rental is a transportation service provider located on Jl. Captain Piere Tendean No.63, Rw. VII, Sindurjan, Purworejo District, Purworejo Regency, Central Java. In managing data, transaction processes to report management are still carried out in a conventional way or manually so that they are vulnerable to the risk of losing important data, manual recording can result in a lack of speed in service. In this study, the problem can be formulated, which are: Can building a web-based car rental information system optimize the process of managing car rental data and recording reports? while the purpose of this research, which is: to solve problems in the process of renting and returning a car with the car rental transaction data that has been integrated. The data collection methods used are: Observation, interview, and literature study. Based on the results obtained is a web-based Car Rental Information System that can help car rental managers. In managing car rental transactions, customers or customers can also easily order cars online, customers can also easily get information about car stock and car rental prices online.
