Abstract

Implementation and Testing of Patient Inpatient Information Systems in the Obstetrics Ward Salma Hana Salsabila, Umar Zaky, S.Kom.,MCs Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : salma.hana.28@gmail.com, umarzaky@gmail.com, ABSTRACT The Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Nyi Ageng Serang is the second regional general hospital after Wates Hospital which is located in Sentolo, Kulon Progo, D.I.Yogyakarta. At the Nyi Ageng Serang Hospital there is a midwifery ward or called the Srikandi Ward. Ward Srikandi is a ward that contains midwives who assist in the delivery of patients, curettage, etc. Patient data collection at Ward Srikandi still uses a manual system, where patient data is still recorded using paper. The process of making month-end reports is usually carried out for 3-5 days and sometimes errors occur in making reports approximately 5-10 times, so that this becomes an obstacle for officers in making month-end reports. In addition, there are problems in the cost process of the actions taken, where the hospital needs a system that can provide details of all the costs of the actions taken. With these problems, an information system is needed that can assist in making month-end reports and cost recaps. The system development stage includes system analysis and design. The research method used in data collection is by interview and observation. Analysis and Design of Patient Inpatient Information System in the Midwifery Ward was built on a web-based basis using HTML and PHP programming languages and MySQL DBMS. The method used in the design of this information system is the waterfall. It is hoped that by making this information system, it can assist officers in making month-end reports to be faster and more accurate. Keywords: System, Hospitalization, Web Base, Waterfall
