Abstract

ABSTRACT Personality is the characteristic and behavior of a person that distinguishes a person from others. Knowing your own personality is important to know your strengths and weaknesses. That way, we can find the right way to fix these shortcomings and we can develop our potential. Knowing personality can also help us to be assertive in taking every action and decision according to each of us. Therefore, the personality test expert system is expected to be one solution so that someone can easily find out their own personality without having to go to a psychologist. The method used is the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to formulate the human personality type and the Naïve Bayes method to determine the person's MBTI personality. This method was chosen because the features of the Naïve Bayes method can work independently, being able to detect the object's personality traits through existing symptoms. This system will provide test analysis results in the form of the greatest tendency for a person's personality type according to the answers given along with the number of percentages. This software is made using HTML, PHP, and Javascript programming languages, while the database uses MySQL. With this system, it can help determine a person's personality, and from that personality we can find out the strengths, weaknesses and potential of a person.
