Abstract

ABSTRACT Cats are one of the most loved animals by some people. Many cute cats are also kept by some people. But often cats are susceptible to diseases that occur due to many factors. Cat disease can also be transmitted quickly and can result in death. The disease can be caused by bacteria and viruses. To prevent cat diseases from being transmitted, cat owners must know in advance about diseases in cats, so that prevention and treatment of cats can be carried out as early as possible. Disease determination in this expert system is carried out through a consultation process between the user and the system and also uses Case-Based Reasoning. The system will display the symptoms of the disease, then the user selects the symptoms experienced. The symptoms selected by the user will be adjusted to the existing rules so that the user will get diagnostic results in the form of symptoms, types of diseases and solutions for handling them. It is hoped that this expert system can provide information and early treatment if an Angora cat is detected to be sick. Keywords : Cased-Based Reasoning, Cat Animal Disease, Expert System.
