Abstract
Omahe Bakpia is a place for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) specifically selling souvenirs typical of Yogyakarta which was opened in 2009. Every day, Omahe Bakpia produces hundreds of boxes of bakpia to be marketed. As the marketing of bakpia develops, Omahe Bakpia can generate a turnover of tens of millions of rupiah per month. This turnover can be found in the financial statements of the business. Business financial statements can be in the form of: statements of financial position, income statements and statements of changes in capital. Currently, the recording of financial statements at Omahe Bakpia often makes mistakes. This causes the resulting financial statements to be inappropriate. The purpose of this research is to build a web-based accounting information system that can minimize errors in recording Omahe Bakpia's financial statements and can be accessed in real time. For this reason, the researcher uses 4 methods of analysis, namely: observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. Researchers conducted direct interviews with the owner of Omahe Bakpia to complete the required information. The end result of the implementation of this web-based accounting information system has been proven to be able to assist the process of recording financial activity data and produce financial reports for Omahe Bakpia and can minimize errors. This web-based accounting information system can also be accessed in real time, with the output generated by the system that can display financial reports including: general journals, ledgers, statements of financial position, income statements and reports of changes in capital. Based on the respondent's data processing, 76% of respondents stated that the system could function properly and was easy to use. While 21% of neutral votes and 3% of respondents said that the application is not too easy to use but also not too difficult to learn.
