Abstract
This study entitled An Analysis of Code Switching In The Village Meetings of Rt 01 Rw 05 Dukuhan Karanganom Klaten Central Java is aimed at finding out the types of code switching and the most dominant type of code switching. This study belongs to qualitative study research because the data are analysed qualitatively, not using any statistical procedure. The result of this study shows that there are three types of code switching. They are Intrasentential switching, Intersentential switching and Extrasentential switching. The most dominant type of code switching is Intrasentential switching (61%), followed by Intersentential switching (19%) and Extrasentential switching (20%).
