Abstract

Abstract This internship practice aims to introduce students to the world of work and train students' soft and hard skills, and it also aims so that students are not surprised when they are in the world of work, and internships are also a requirement for graduating from the Yogyakarta Technological University, and a place for internships for students. occupied is RUMIJO (Jogja Inspiration House). Rumah Inspirasi Jogja (Rumijo) Eco Indonesia, located in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, is an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) that teaches the meaning of sustainable and responsible tourism. Rumah Inspiration Jogja (Rumijo) Eco applies and teaches to live without plastic so you can learn about many things, especially the meaning of sustainable and responsible tourism with the smallest thing, namely minimizing household waste. One example is by producing their own products such as making candles from used cooking oil, toothpaste which was originally made from egg shells but is now replaced with bamboo charcoal, then there are also bath soaps and products made from coconut oil which are very friendly to nature. And based on observations, it can be concluded that RUMIJO is a very suitable place to train soft and hard skills and these soft and hard skills will be very useful in the world of work.
