Abstract

The Ngudi Mulyo Farmer Group is located in Nglegi Village, Patu District, Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta. The Ngudi Mulyo Farmer Group produces food and beverage products derived from processed cocoa/chocolate pods. Currently, there are several processed cocoa fruit products produced by the Ngudi Mulyo Farmer Group on the market. The marketing system for processed cocoa fruit products is currently still carried out in a conventional way where customers come directly to the chocolate gallery which is located at the secretariat of the Ngudi Mulyo Farmer Group. The current marketing system is less effective in reaching customers from outside the region which results in the product being less well known to consumers. The purpose of this research is to build a web-based marketing information system for processed cocoa fruit products at the Ngudi Mulyo Farmers Group. The system development method using the waterfall method includes data collection, analysis and design, programming, testing, and operation. The results of this study are a web-based marketing information system for processed cocoa fruit products at the Ngudi Mulyo Farmer's Group created with the Laravel framework and MySQL database. The test results state that the system makes it easy for customers as evidenced by the results of a questionnaire as many as 25 respondents 80% agree that customers can quickly choose the product to be ordered.
