Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the system and procedure for selling AirKU AMDK cash in the Perumda Air Drinking Tirta Binangun, Kulon Progo Regency in 2022. This research is expected to provide recommendations for a better cash sales accounting system for companies. The importance of cash sales systems and procedures is the background of this final report. Good cash sales systems and procedures will support the company's goal of making a profit and can prevent fraud against cash sales procedures. Through the results of this study, the company can consider the recommendations given by researchers to improve the existing cash sales accounting system to make it better. The result of the research is that the researcher assumes that there are still shortcomings in the cash sales procedures that are carried out. Researchers provide recommendations for customers to make payments that were originally made to the delivery function, changed to the financial function by means of cash transfers to company accounts. Payments made to the financial function aim to avoid fraud from the delivery function using cash for personal interests which will result in company losses.
