Abstract

One of the aspects that can support the service quality in a culinary business is the ordering process and payment. The ordering process mostly done by culinary businesses such as restaurants or cafes is a manual ordering system by writing on paper and ordering directly at the cashier. Biji Hitam, located in Berastagi City, still use a manual ordering system for ordering and payment. The manual ordering and payment system creates some problems. The problem that often occurs is the occurrence of queues at the cashier when the cafe atmosphere is busy, which can hinder the access road for servers serving customers. Another problem is that buyers have to wait a long time for the waiter to record orders or take a list of orders that have been written and the order notes accumulate when many customers arrive. Therefore, in this study, an ordering and payment application was made at the Web-based and Mobile-based Biji Hitam Coffee Shop. The web technologies used in this application include the Programming Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and MySQL database. In contrast, Mobile Technology uses the Dart programming language with the Android Studio IDE and the Midtrans platform as a Payment Gateway. Based on the results of implementation and testing, it can be concluded that the web-based ordering and payment application on Black Seed as a back-end that admins and mobile will use as a front-end that customers will use has been successfully created. Keywords: Application, System, Customer, Order, and Payment. Aziz Alfisyahri
