Abstract

The role of information technology in the era of increasingly rapid technological development for the agricultural sector is to increase agricultural productivity. Utilization of information technology for agriculture will support agricultural business systems including as a medium for sales, marketing and also transactions between farmers. Toko Intan Tani is a commercial business engaged in agriculture. The business unit in Toko Intan Tani is selling agricultural products which are targeted to people who have difficulty finding agricultural products at cheap prices and easily accessible to the wider community. The purpose of this research is to build a Web-Based Agricultural Product Sales Information System. This sales information system can provide convenience to customers in making purchase transactions at the Intan Tani Store. This information system has been tested using a questionnaire. The test results stated that the system makes it easier for customers, which was proven with the results of a questionnaire as many as 26 respondents 85% stated that they strongly agree and agree, by building a web-based agricultural product sales system it can overcome the problems encountered in the Intan Tani Shop sales transaction process.
