Abstract
This study is conducted to analyze a psychological condition of the main character in the movie, Arthur. He is the main focus of the analysis. There are two problems analyzed in this study: (1) the traumatic experience illustrated in Joker, (2) the impact of traumatic experience. In conducting this research, the writer uses descriptive qualitative method. The writer approaches the data with Abrams theories, Objective Theory and Sigmund Freud Theory. This study is a library research. To collect the data, the writer uses reading and taking-note techniques. There are several things found in this thesis. The writer finds a psychological condition the main character in the movie which is represented by Arthur, who has mental illness condition that called PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). He got it because the traumatic experience during childhood. A psychological condition gave an impact to social life. Key words: psychological condition, traumatic experience, impact
