Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION AND TESTING OF WEBSITE-BASED LODGING RESERVATION SYSTEMS (Case Study: LOSMEN 2000 TIGA) Angelia Saputri Weni, Iwan Hartadi Tri Untoro, S.T., M.Kom. Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : aweny6277@gmail.com, iwanhtu31@gmail.com, ABSTRACT This study discusses the Implementation and Testing of lodging reservation information systems. Lodging reservations are currently running less effectively and efficiently because the reservation process is manual or still uses social media such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. The purpose of this research is to implement and test a website-based lodging reservation system that has been built in order to increase service effectiveness and make it easy for customers to make lodging reservations anywhere and anytime. make it easier for employees to manage reservation data, record reservations, minimize the risk of losing customers due to delays in providing information about lodging and make it easier to provide information about check-in or checkout times, make it easier to determine the price of bookings and report every activity that is in the system or at the location of the inn to the owner . For the owner of this system, it can make it easier for the owner to find out every reservation activity in the system and also receive financial reports. In developing this website, the method used in research is the portfolio method.
