Abstract
Efficient, effective and transparent financial management within government agencies has an important role in supporting optimal achievement of government agency goals. However, in practice, there are often various factors that become obstacles in efforts to achieve efficient financial management and in accordance with applicable regulations. This final assignment report aims to identify and analyze inhibiting factors in financial management at the Yogyakarta City Investment and One Stop Integrated Services Service. The data collection method involves interviews with financial officers from relevant agencies. The results show that the inhibiting factors in financial management in agencies include human resource factors, regulatory factors and the latest policies which often hinder them, due to the process of adaptation and adjustment which takes time. This disrupts the smooth financial management process, causing delays in budget use and payments. This Final Project report provides an important contribution to the development of better financial management policies and strategies in related agencies. In order to increase efficiency, it is recommended that agencies improve training, have good communication between departments, and implement strict supervision in their financial management. In this way, it is hoped that financial management in agencies can run more effectively and support optimal achievement of the goals of government agencies.
