Abstract

This internship program is mandatory for students majoring in English at Yogyakarta Technology University's Diploma 3 Program as one of the requirements for graduation and obtaining an A.Md (Associate Expert) degree, as well as to provide students with experience related to the tourism sector. The internship program starts from February 13 - April 13 2023. The aim of implementing this internship program is to find out what the work environment is like in the tourism sector, especially at the Yogyakarta Sandi Museum. Students can improve the knowledge they have gained in previous classes to apply through this internship program. The results of implementing the internship program include knowing the friendly service at the Sandi Museum, how to guide local and foreign tourists and applying English language skills to translate the contents of the APEM Sandi application. Based on this internship program, it can be concluded that the Sandi Museum really prioritizes service to visitors, so that museum visitors can understand the history of the museum clearly.
