Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengaktifkan kembali central pasar kalibobo yang sebelumnya sepi menjadi ramai, dengan mempertimbangkan isu-isu permasalahan secara makro hingga mikro dalam proses revitalisasi pembangunan pasar yang sebelumnya tidak teratasi dengan baik. Proses perancangan revitalisasi central pasar kalibobo sebagai wujud dalam mendorong kegiatan pasar yang mampu bersaing dengan pusat berbelanja modern, dengan tujuan agar dapat memberikan peningkatkan pendapatan omset pedagang pasar kalibobo. Proses revitalisasi mempertimbangkan aspek-aspek berupa; aspek fisik bangunan, aspek kawasan, aspek budaya, dan aspek alam, yang berkaitan dengan standar kebersihan dan kesehatan pasar. Aspek-aspek tersebut dapat membantu dalam perencanaan desain ruang dan tata letak penzoningan pasar yang sebelumnya tidak tertata nantinya dapat memberikan kemudahan dan kenyamanan pedagang serta pembeli dalam berbelanja. Proses perancangan revitalisasi pasar yang dikaitkan dengan pendekatan arsitektur kontekstual dapat diharapkan memberikan efek positif dan mampu dalam merespon kondisi central pasar kalibobo yang sebelumnya terlihat pecek, kumuh, semraut, dan kotor menjadi bersih dan sehat. Salah satu wujud dari kontekstual pasar yaitu, merespon kebiasaan masyarakat berekreasi. Hal ini bertujuan untuk menjadikan pasar tidak hanya sebagai tempat untuk bertransaksi jual-beli barang tetapi dapat dijadikan tempat masyarakat untuk berinteraksi dan bersosialisasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini meninjau hal-hal yang berkontekstual terhadap fisik bangunan dan non-fisik bangunan, sebagai aspek-aspek perancangan yang meliputi konsep implementasi ke bangunan dengan menganalisa permasalahan dan potensi berdasarkan prinsip arsitektur kontekstual. This study aims to reactivate the center of Pasar Kalibobo, which was previously quite to become bustling, by considering macro to micro issues in the market development revitalization process that was previously handled inappropriately. The revitalization design of the center of Pasar Kalibobo aims to encourage market activities that compete with modern shopping centers, increasing the turnover of Pasar Kalibobo traders. The revitalization process considers physical aspects of the building, regional, cultural, and natural aspects, which are related to market hygiene and health standards. These aspects can help in planning the space design and market zoning layout that was previously unorganized, which will provide convenience and comfort for traders and buyers in shopping. The market revitalization design process, associated with the contextual architectural approach, can be expected to affect the center of Pasar Kalibobo positively, and respond to the previously stale, shabby, chaotic, and dirty conditions, to become clean and healthy. One form of market context is responding to people's recreational habits. It aims to make the market not only a place for buying and selling goods but also for people to interact and socialize. The study results review the contextual matters of the physical and non-physical building as a design aspect which include the concept of implementation to the building, by analyzing the problems and potentials based on the principles of contextual architecture.
