Abstract

Happy store is a business operating in the fashion sector which focuses on selling clothing, especially clothes. The problem faced by the Happy Store is that it is not yet possible to reach a wider marketing area, because the current sales system is still classified as manual or consumers come to the store directly and make transactions at the Happy Store. The method used is less effective or inefficient because consumers now prefer instant ones or want something fast. This has an impact on services that are still not optimal and consumers have difficulty getting information about the products offered. The aim of this research is to build a web-based information system that can help consumers more easily carry out transactions and select products according to their needs and assist sellers in managing sales transaction data. The method used in research is using the waterfall method. There are research stages used in designing a sales system, namely data collection, analysis and design, program creation, system testing. This system was created using the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language and Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) using MySQL and Laravel databases as the framework. The conclusion of this research is that it can build a web-based clothing sales information system that can facilitate the sales process on the Happy Store website and make it easier for admins to manage sales data with computerized data processing and make transactions easier for consumers.
