Abstract

Kauman Yogyakarta tourist village is a tourist village located in the Yogyakarta City area. A tourist village is a village area that is a tourist attraction because it has its own appeal for tourists, including: natural beauty, culture, historical sites, unique and interesting local wisdom. Kauman tourist village is under the auspices of the Yogyakarta City tourism office. Currently, the reservation system at the Kauman Yogyakarta tourist village is still manual, which still uses Whatsapp or by telephone directly to the tourist village admin. The creation of a web-based tourist village information system as an electronic media for tourist village reservations aims to provide convenience for prospective visitors in making reservations and the tourist village admin in serving reservations and can provide complete and valid information about the Kauman Yogyakarta tourist village. In building this information system, the author uses the waterfall development method where there are six phases in this development method, namely user needs analysis, system design, system development, testing, implementation, maintenance and evaluation. This system is built using the php and html programming languages and MySQL as a database. With this research, it produces an information system for the Kauman Yogyakarta tourist village that can provide convenience and efficiency to prospective visitors in making reservations so that prospective visitors can make reservations through the system, then it can provide convenience to the admin in serving visitor reservations.
