Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out The Beauty of Changes As Depicted In Modern Poetry. The study is library research. This means that data was collected from several books and reading the poems The End of The Summer, I Wandered Lonely as A Cloud, Mont Brevent, Lady! The Songs of Spring Were in The Grove, My November Guest, Invitation to Love, Sympathy, journals, and theories related to studies. This research uses primary data and secondary data. In conducting research. The author received the help of two theories. Namely the Objective theory by Abrams and the Aesthetic theory by Alexander Gottlieb Baumgarten. The research method is to examine poetry in depth to find data related to the process of changing beauty, and draw conclusions from the analysis. This research found that the process of changing days and changing seasons produces beauty. The poems taken not only describe beauty, they also contain a process of change
